    Description

    Vintage Silk Fan Hand Painted Occupied Japan
    This really pretty silk hand painted fan spans 9 ½ " when open and is 5 ¼” long.  It is labeled Made in Occupied Japan.  The silk is handpainted with beautiful pink and white flowers on branches.  It does have some damage, thus the reduced price.  During WWII, US occupied Japan and everything sold out of Japan had to be marked Occupied Japan. This was during the years of 1945 - 1952.
