    This is a fully synthesized  Frequency Selective Voltmeter aka Receiver with an independent Signal Generator.  It will demodulate AM, USB, LSB & DSB signals with the caveat that the bandwidth is fixed at 7400Hz in that mode.  Otherwise the bandwidths are 25, 100, 1950 & 3100 Hz when used as a FSVM.
    Tuning is by entering the frequency with the keypad using the up/down keys and steps are as fine as 1Hz.
    NO KNOBS GUYS!
    While the unit has an internal speaker it lacked an audio output connector which was rectified by adding a 1/4" mono switched, (speaker disconnected), phone jack. The display is an LCD with a backlight and readable in sunlight.
    The plastic cover needs one side to be glued back in place.
