This listing is for an antique French Victorian bone and silk hand fan. Circa late 1800's, made in France. The Fan comes in its original box sold in as-is condition.
The hand fan is in very good/used condition. This delicate Victorian antique has a detailed carved bone frame and hand painted white floral silk fabric panels. The fan itself opens and folds up with ease. Mother of Pearl buttons on sides of loop. The silk has a few very small holes but it does not distract of the overall beauty of the fabric. The original box is cardboard and the lid is being held together with tape. Back of the box says it was made in France and there is writing possibly from the original owner or seller.
Unfolded the fan measures 15x 23 inches.
Original box measures 14.5x 1.75x 1.5 inches.
This is a beautifully preserved piece of Victorian fashion, perfect for any antiques collector
