Antique Mother of Pearl Silver Hand Fan Hand-Painted Austrian

*****FROM AN AMAZING LOCAL ESTATE FAN COLLECTION*****
This good quality antique fan is  being sold in "As Is" condition and is in need of restoration.  The story I was told was that the descendants of the estate allowed their children to play with this amazing fan and thus the damage.  Kind of shocking to lovers of beautiful things!   The scene on the front shows four elegantly dressed women with two gentlemen; one playing a violin. In the  background are two cherubs; one pouring water from an urn and the other in the water .   It looks like a stage set.
The reverse hand -painted side has a romantic  scene of  a couple dressed in Grecian clothes with two doves kissing beside them and the cherub above sprinkling possibly a love potion.
the mother of pearl sticks are pierced as well as being embedded with engraved silver leaves.  The decorative brass handle is held together by two mother of pearl studs .
A gorgeous very old fan in great need of conservation!
It's a good size but too fragile to measure.

I believe this fan is Austrian as the box it was in is marked Facherfabrik Johanna Erdody Niederlage Wien.  The  original owner had  printed on the bottom of the box:  Son of napoleon  Fan From duke of Reichstadt to Dancer Fanny Fan Napolenic Bee.  I'm selling the box separately as I couldn't find the Napoleonic bee and am not sure if it original to the fan.
